Our condo board wants to keep a mat rolled up and only put it out on rainy or snowy days. Will that be a problem with this rubber doormat? Will the mat continue to lay flat?

Scraper Rubber Mats are made with a premium rubber compound that allows it to be quite flexible. In particular, the mat can be rolled and unrolled frequently and not become wavy and will still remain flat when placed on the floor. Also, keeping the mat rolled up, stored in a closet will not negatively impact the integrity of the rubber.
Do the oval surface nubs need to face one direction or the other or does it not matter?

Because the tread pattern on the bottom of all footwear is not uniform and the soles are often multi-directional, the Scraper Rubber Mats can be laid out horizontally or vertically and be equally effective. More importantly, the mat should be sized appropriately for the entrance as well as the door (or doors) that are being passed through.
