All-Purpose Folding Gym Mats are our most popular institutional-grade tumbling and exercise mats. These folding mats are perfect for school, gymnastic centers, gymnasiums and even conform to the US Gymnastics competition standards.
Constructed with an 18oz vinyl-reinforced polyester, which is finished with either a grained or smooth surface.
The vinyl covering is rot-, mildew- and water-resistant, as well as being anti-fungal and anti-bacterial.
These folding gymnasium mats have 2" press fasteners that allow the mats to be quickly and easily joined together and are available on either 2 sides end-to-end, or on all 4 sides, to form a single, large surface.
Covers are double stitched with heavy-duty nylon thread.
The core of these folding mats is filled with open-cell foam, which is made from shredded pieces of foam that are then glued together under high pressure, forming one solid piece of 2" foam (6lbs per SF). This rebond foam is quite dense and provides a firm surface.
Mats fold in 2' panels for easy storage and mobility.
