A Clean Room Sticky Mat Frame is a low profile, flat base which is constructed of a rigid PVC and designed to hold sticky mats in place on a variety of flooring surfaces while allowing the sticky mats to be moved to different locations (and thus allowing a sticky mat pad to be used multiple areas without adhering the pad to the floor itself). A frame is necessary when each 30 sheet pad will not be completely used in one location.

Would the 24" x 36" frame properly hold the 18" x 36" sticky mats?

Yes, the larger frame can always work with smaller tacky mats. Of course, there will be a few inches of exposed frame, but it posses no issue. Conversely, a larger mat should not be placed on top of a smaller frame.
