NOTE: Economy SoftCarpet's surface and bonding show more wear and tear after a shorter period of time whereas the premium version show minimal wear and tear after many years of use. Additionally, the Economy Softcarpet's surface fibers (knap) are much shorter and therefore more easily compress giving the appearance of different color variations throughout when, in fact, every tile is made from the same production run/dye lot. The Premium SoftCarpets have longer fibers (knap) will always lay in the same direction and have a uniform color throughout.
