Heavy-duty Wall Pads are institutional-grade, gym wall padding that offers protection and safety against hard-surfaced walls. These wall pads are perfect for schools, gymnastic centers, gymnasiums and even conform to the US Gymnastics competition standards.
Constructed with a 16oz vinyl-reinforced polyester, which is finished with either a grained or smooth surface.
Each wall panel is backed with 7/16' waferboard and has a 1" lip on the top and bottom to easily mount to any wall.
The vinyl covering is rot-, mildew- and water-resistant, as well as being anti-fungal and anti-bacterial.
These wall pads can quickly and easily be installed to form a single, large surface area for maximum coverage, even in large spaces, to help protect against injury.
Wall pad covers are double-stitched with heavy-duty nylon thread to ensure a long life and offer greater durability.
The core of these gym wall pads is filled with open-cell foam, which is made from shredded pieces of foam that are then glued together under high pressure, forming one solid piece of 2" foam (6lbs per SF). This rebond foam is quite dense and provides a firm surface.
