Recessed Floor Mat L Frames is metal floor framing used to finish off stone, tile and other surrounding finished floor surfaces in preparation for placement adjacent to a recessed floor mat.
L frames help protect the surrounding floor surface while concurrently keeping the recessed floor mat firmly in place.
Aluminum mill is the standard finish for the recessed metal floor mat frames though other anodized and powder coat finishes are available.
Angle Cut Frame Ends are used when lining up two or more frames at a 90 degree angle to produce square corners.
Straight Cut Frame Ends are often implemented when one frame leg will not butt up against another (ie, if the framing is only being used on one side of a recess / transition).
Although most finishes floors are between 3/8" and 1/2" deep, other flooring types (and thus deeper frames) are available including 3/4" and 1-13/16" depths.
