Vinyl Mesh Pool Mats

These mesh loop pool mats without a backing allow large amounts of water to easily drain through the mat while helping the walking surface dry quickly and remain safe to walk across.  Mesh mats without a backing are also slightly easier to roll and unroll (if they're not being left out).  However, the backing adds weight to the mat to help hold it in place a little better.  Customers use both versions around pools but the unbacked option is the more popular and usually makes the most sense for this application.

The Vinyl Mesh Pool Matting can easily be cut with a sharp pair of scissors or, ideally, a utility (razor) knife.  Cutting these pool mats will not negatively affect the rest of the mat nor will it unravel or cause degradation.

More than a particular product, the color of the matting would be the most important factor when deciding on a pool mat that will deflect heat and not hurt feet.  The lighter the color the better.  That being said, our Vinyl Mesh Pool Mats and Wet Step Slip-Resistant Mats are both great options and come in lighter colors. Alternatively, if you think an interlocking tile would better suit your layout, the Durarid Deck Matting is a great choice.

These vinyl mesh mats are designed to allow water to easily flow off the surface and through the mat while providing traction on bare feet and shoes alike to help prevent slips and falls, especially on hard, slippery surfaces.

Vinyl Pool mats can be left outside in below-freezing temperatures without it negatively affecting the mats.

Certainly - you can walk across these mesh loop pool mats without issue (even if someone has sensitive feet).   These are soft, extruded vinyl mats that conform to the foot (or any other object) resting/walking on them while still maintaining commercial-grade durability.

Vinyl Mesh pool mats will not sink to the bottom of the pool.  That being said, they may not be fully on the surface of the water but they do, technically, float.

Vinyl Mesh Pool Mats do not contain toxic substances or other components that pose harm to people (regardless of age).  These drainage mats are made from pure, commercial-grade vinyl and may have a faint 'new car' smell right after they're manufactured but, if any smell is present, it would quickly dissipate (and is also not harmful).
